The track is inspired by the science fiction novel "Hyperion Cantos" by Dan Simmons.
In this story eight pilgrims intend to travel to the Valley of the Time Tombs on the planet Hyperion. There the Shrike lives, a metallic creature alleged to grant one wish to the members of the pilgrimage.

The 121 bpm track is divided in 3 sections: Meditation - Extasy - Arrival
TThis release renews an old partnership collaborating closely with Gena Wernik.
